Jaringan komputer adalah sebuah hubungan antara dua komputer atau lebih, yang memungkinkan komunikasi antar pengguna dalam jaringan yang sama, melalui media yang menghubungkan keduanya.Sebuah jaringan komputer terdiri dari 2 atau lebih perangkat (seperti workstation, printer, server) yang terhubung bersama dengan tujuan untuk berbagi dalam pemakaian informasi, resource, atau kedua-duanya.
